About Course

I am making this course for 4 reasons:

  1. I am taking one of the greatest courses at the Georgia Institute of Technologies for my master of computer science program. It’s educational technologies. During this course, we are supposed to do researches, design courses, or develop educational software or tools by learning the theories of educational technologies. I am actually interested in all of the three tracks. However, for one semester’s time, I could only focus on the content track to produce an educational course which I think would benefit all of us, including myself 🙂 A mobile application of joyful learning is in plan as well.
  2. Learning theories, modern cognitive science, and consciousness science will help instructors to design the course efficiently, and certainly will so help learners to learn better.
  3. Instead of studying the material world outside our mind, contemplative science is a new field which studies human meta-cognition and capacity of our mind from an introspective approach.
  4. The last and most important reason for me to create this course: I am so grateful to Buddha Shakyamuni, who taught me the way to live a joyful life unconditionally. Everyone can and ought to benefit from his education, especially since the pandemic. Since I am so interested in educational technologies, so I would like to combine Buddha’s joyful education with our modern learning theories to benefit everyone.

This course is currently still in development. I will release new contents as long as I produce them 🙂 Hope you will enjoy the time with it and learn joyfully ever since!
